It had been so long I didn't do movie review due to some reason. First, most of the movie I went by myself without any sponsorship. Second, I didn't enter a movie contest for quiet some time now. Third, I was quiet broke for the time being. Last but not least, that Goblin and Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-Joo made me stay home and finished all of those episode non stop (highly addictive).
Without further ado, let's jump to the SYNOPSIS
RAEES is a fictitious story of a man named, Raees, set in early 1980's to 1990's Gujarat, India. The film explores how Raee's relationships and meteoric rise helped him build and entire empire from scratch, to make him the single most powerful man in the state.
His layered character traits encapsulate and inimitable blend of personas, making him revered, loved and feared.
Always thinking ahead of the curve and using revolutionary ideas of management which were unheard of during his time, but are now doctrines for students, Raees eliminates every opposition that come his way.
However, his downfall will crossing paths with the no-nonsense police officer Majumdar, whose sole reason for existence is the elimination of crime.
What will happened in the movie between all of the character? I will tell you after this.
But, to get that visual thingy, click play on this video
CAST (actor and actresses) in the movie of course the Shah Rukh Khan, Mahira Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and others.
Everyone knows Shah Rukh Khan. Well, who doesn't? But, mostly he is well known in the melodrama Bollywood movie. Not saying that he never acted in this kind of actions movie and be one of the antagonist character.
I'm not surprised by his awesome acting at all, because he is one of the GREAT Bollywood actors all time.
But I'm more surprised by other supporting roles. Well, truthfully I watched like very mainstream and well known Bollywood movie like 3 idiots, Kabhi Kushi Kabhie Gham and etc.
Due to that, I only watched the same actor and actresses all over again. Yeah I know kind of underestimate them but hey, I was proved WRONG.
I personally like Nawazuddin Siddiqui (police officer). His character was so cool, and kind of had that different vibe of being the police officer. Poker face which I like, because I can't guess what his doing up next, playful in some ways and loyal to his job.
I know is just acting, but I like how he emerged and act as the character needed to. But, (spoiler alert) I think that he will let Raees alive after that conversation they have in the van. Other thing is, I'm schock when he left Raees body in that huge space.
I said that not because I disagree, but that shows the truth and real life can't always have a happy ending.
For Mahira Khan, well she is a really loyal girlfriend/wife, and to interpret that love to a criminal was just feel like real. I can feel that real love dude.

And yeap best friend, Chirag (Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub), is a bromance in this movie. Their friendship is remarkable. I thought they will be some huge cat fight between Raees and him (just like typical unfaithful and stab you in the back kind of friend), but naah, that is a true friendship.
CINEMATOGRAPHY in Bollywood movies never failed me at all. The song is not that overwhelming and apart just focusing on Shah Rukh Khan itself, I think that it involve lots of people too equally, due to their individual strong character.
Apart from all of that, I think you should try to watch this and make sure to be patience because the movie is quite lengthy. As my advice, please do not hold your pee, just go to the toilet although you will missing out a few scene from the movie.
Till then, make sure you leave a comment below and tell me how you feel about this movie, either a naah or yaay!
P/S: As for all my movie review, I didn't give any rate because I'm afraid that will stop from enjoying this movie. Make sure watched it will a clear mind and make a personal review about them, because we have a different opinion, individually.
Tired of your typical daily food? Get dirty with Southern American seafood boils at Crab Factory. Before I start the review, let's emerged into the seafood goodness by click this video below:
The place is quite spacey, but limited. Suitable for group of people who just want to share the same love for foods. It was first time that I get to eat with my fellow bloggers, and it was fun and for me, I do enjoy the time that we spend doing the same thing that we love, which is eating!
You guys already watch the video right? I'm pretty sure you guys wondering, what is that? and how it taste? and most importantly, how much was it?. So, let's start!
Seafood Set Meat Crab
This one is full of wonder because look at that mix of seafood, and the moment I bite, it taste fresh and yummy. Actually, you can pick the level of hotness on this set, and thank god they pick mild for us, because it have that hot sensation.
For the price of RM 175, if you share with a bunch of friends, it's worth it.
Creamy Lemak Meat Crab
At the end of the feast, I ask other blogger which one is their favourite of all, all of them include myself pick this one up. I know guys, Malaysian are still Malaysian, we can't forget our masak lemak. But this one it's really creamy, I like this because it taste like they put cheese in that, and it was lovely taste in my mouth.
For this set, they have TWO meat crab, add on sausages (RM 5.90), so the total is RM 125.90 (include the sausages). Please try this and let me know if you love this too!
Yabbies Spicy Plum
Prawn Garlic Butter
I was like gonna say this, but among all, this is my least favourite but not because it does not taste good, it is but once I get to taste that masak lemak, I can't find anything that will top that chart. Their prawn look fresh and it taste fresh too and it suit the name, because you get to taste that garlic-ness.
Again with 500 g, this set is RM55 only and you eat this for like TWO to THREE people if you have small appetite. But, for me, I can eat and ratah by myself and also ate this with rice.
Octopus Thai Sambal
This one is actually much more spicier than the mild seafood set meat crab and look at that healthy big octopus. If I have a list of my favourite, this will be the second one. The taste it just lovely, and I like spicy food even though I can't handle it very well.
As for the price, RM 33 for 500 g, what more can you ask for?
Side Dishes
Well, it does not end there. They also provide us a side dishes, which is Fried Mini Mantao, Shallot Rice and Garlic Fried Chicken Wings.
I like Man Tao bun, and its great they give us this because it gave us option and to variety the way we wanted to eat the seafood bag. I can taste this with that sauce, and this sauce and so on.
But, I have to say that shallot rice and the fried chicken are just normal, it does not have that special taste to it. But, if you are a person that can't live without rice (like me), they have white rice as well.
Fried Mini Man Tao - RM 9.90 |
Shallot Rice: RM 5.00 |
Garlic Fried Chicken: RM 18.90 |
Overall, I am very satisfied the moment I walk out from Crab Factory. It was such an experienced! I can't thank enough that they cooked delicious seafood bag and for you guys who wanted to try this, I recommend it, let me know how it was.
Last but not least, below are the menu that they have in the store!

Price List of VR Lab Malaysia |
They have like almost 100 games if I'm not mistaken, and it consist of sports, family, horror and many more.
I got to play around FOUR to FIVE games, and mostly either I die too early or it just too scary for me to bear with.
Understand me here, its was too real when the zombie in Brookhaven Experiment attack me in front of my eye. I feel like I was in that real situation, but thank god it was all just a game. It goes the same to Blue Effect, like why I even think to play this game, it was too scary.
I also got to play a 'kid' game where, there is no horror and zombie clown and so on. (I feel so safe). But, I feel like working out when I play Thrill of the Fight. This is where I get to knockdown and boxing with the fighter.
If you want to dive in into the visual, play video below:
Honestly, this is my first time ever experienced virtual reality, and it was a pleasant things, despite that scary zombie haunted me for a while.
I'm pretty sure I will come back again with my friends and play a bunch of games. Who knows, we might get into some healthy competition like this game 'Dig 4 Destruction' below, where us bloggers play with each other.

Since I decided to be active in blogging, there are always something new and FIRST TIME for me to experienced. Just like this post, where I'm going to tell you about high tea table manner.
Well, I'm mamak, stall kind of girl. Love food and always eat at my own pace. Some of my friends love to see me eating, because I will make an expression and I eat like a beast.
But, for this post I'm going to be a little bit ladylike, very poised, and kind of new side of me.
So, at Tea Verandah they have 30 different type of tea to choose from. The interesting part is, when I ask the owner, Joan Lee, all of the tea that they have in a menu is created by their team.
Therefore, its one of a kind. All of the tea was brewed from the finest leaves found in the world, and vary in taste, flavour and offer various health benefits.
Well, without further ado, let me share you THREE things I encounter during the workshop.
Drink Their Europe Fruits Tea
I get to taste two of their Europe Fruits Tea, called 'Tea Verandah' (in hot pot tea) and Tropical Sky (cold).
Tea Verandah contained of apple bits, lemon bits, cherries, pineapple, mango bit, papaya, hibiscus blossoms, orange peel, rose hip peels, elderberries, peach bits, apricot bits, and orange bits.
While on Tropical Sky, there are pineapple, papaya, mango, tangerine slice, safflower, rose, sunflower and physalis.
Pheww, that was a long list and I must say, both taste really good, maybe just because I'm a tea lady. Basically, both tea have that really fruity taste. So, if you guys are up for it, make sure to try their range of tea because for me, its something different.
Eat with Manner
Again, our lovely Joan is the one that teach us few things on high tea table manner. First, on how to eat scone, and also cupcake (properly).
Basically, we just eat, but we should know that they are certain things to do during high tea and a big occasion on dinner, and others. But, most of the days, we ate with our hands, or fork and spoon.
I know, there were table manners for every occasion, but I just didn't know what is the proper etiquette to follow and used. Although I just learned two things, but hey its still a knowledge.
By the way, click this video to watched how we can properly eat scone and cupcakes!
Stuff Myself with Food
Meet New Friends
Now, its time for practical time (excuses). I find its hard for me to be full with all the finger food, but you know high tea was supposed to be like this, food that are not too heavy and not too light. It's just in between.
In terms of flavour, honestly there was not much of it but my favourite so far would be this creme brûlée (due to the portion is quite big), scones (soft and tasty) and potato pillow puff (not too salty and soft).
Its may sound funny because I was known to have a big appetite, so to cut down portion into half was like really hard for me.
But, if you wanted to try, check out their menu by click here.
Meet New Friends
So, that is my squad for that day. Truthfully, this is my first time met all of them (except Mumbling Mommy) and its always nice to get to new people when I attend an event. Usually, I will attend event alone but after exchanging card and contact, I'm no longer a lone ranger.
Oh and did you know that if you want to hangout or planning an event, just contact them and you will own your calm chit chat place with your friends (with a cup of tea).

Another fun fact about me, I love COCONUT water and I can finished few bottles for a day. That's why I decided to attend 'Launch of Blanc Coco Sparkling Water, Thai Coco Coconut Milk Beverages and Snacks', last week.
Thai Coconut Public Company Limited is in the business of coconuts and coconut products that are exported all over the world. For the past four years, they have been planting the best kind of coconuts (the Nam Hom), grown in the Ratchaburi Province in Thailand.
Therefore, all of their products are using Nam Hom, which delivers a unique fragrant aroma, and cannot be found in other species of coconuts.
Range of Thai Coco Products |
Blanc Coco 100% Sparkling Water
There are 4 flavours in the range such as Natural Flavour, Mango & Pineapple, Lemonade and Pomegranate. This sparkling coconut water is retailed at RM 7.50 per bottle (275 ml).
The best thing about this product are, Never From Concentrate, Only 22 KCAL Per Bottle, No Preservative, No Sugar Added, 100% Coconut Co2 Injection, Zero Fat Zero Cholesterol. To be exact, it is All Natural.
With all the good stuff in the bottle, somehow it's all about the taste.
I get to have a sip of the Natural Flavour at the event and personally I prefer this taste apart from the coconut milk one.
It is not overwhelming, it doesn't taste sweet as much as other sparkling water does, and doesn't taste weird for me. You must have thought that 'ahh, this combination of coconut and sparkling water. Are they going to taste good?'. Yup, they actually are, for natural flavour.
But, at first it will taste like medicine, a cough medicine to be exact. The aftertaste was okay, and it was not too overwhelm.
They didn't serve us with another three flavour, but anyhow it looks promising. For more information, visit http://www.theblanccoco.com.
Some of the Thai Coco product sample that we got to taste. |
Coconut Chips
There are 4 flavours as Spicy Cheese, Sour Cream & Onion, Original and Yoghurt.
Again, we get our hand only on original flavour.
The chips was so addictive to eat, once you bite into it you will keep eating it.
Plus, I don't feel guilty because they made from natural coconut and usually, chips are made by frying but for they dried it.
Due to that, the texture and crispiness of the chips are just so good.
Coconut Milk Beverages
This product are available in few flavours such as, Durian, Chocolate, Coffee, Mango, Melon and Original. It is retailed at RM4.00 per bottle (280 ml).
Original flavour could not go wrong in every situation. During this event, they mix around the flavour, like Rose and Melon and it ruined the melon taste because rose is too overwhelming. But, there are also mixture that I love which Chocolate and Coffee, because it taste like Mocha.
Unforgettable sample testing is on Durian. No offence, I love Durian but for me the taste and smell are just too strong, and quite sweet too. Not favour of this one, but I suggest you guys to taste it first.
Overall, it was a good experienced, great innovation and lot's of variety of products. I would like to recommend you to try the sparkling water because it's something different, chips for like daily consuming, the milk beverages and also roasted coconut bar.
All of this product will be available in hypermarket/supermarket SOON, but you can get your hand on this product at online platform such as Big Box Asia, by just click here. Easy peasy, lemon squeezy!
Last but not least, let's end this with video that were made by freelance videographer
(ig: azizulmst0).
For this first Tried & Tested section, I get to tried Eumora Facial Bar for few days.
Eumora Miracle Bar ingredients are 100% imported from Europe, and one of the key ingredients in Eumora is Hydration Micro-algae (HMa). It is manufactured in Malaysia and are made from 100% herbs and suitable for all skin types.
CAUTION:
I only provided a Honest Review.
I did not start using it on 4th January, but instead I start on the next day which is 5th January because it is easier for me to calculate and see the result by myself.
Like a regular cleanser, I used this twice a day (day and night).
But this one, after apply it to your skin, you have to leave on for 3 minutes, and then rinse off with water.
My face feel smoother when I apply it for the first time.
But after like few days, it started to have effects, as for me it's get quite itchy and there is a few small bumps came out on my face.
Fret not, they said that it is part of "healing crisis", as it was a detoxification action of HmA and moor, due to possible pre-existing toxic conditions and skin sensitivities caused by over-exposure to strong exfoliants in some individuals, which is myself.
And here is some of question and answer for "healing crisis" thingy:
1. What is Healing Crisis?
“Healing crisis” is the initial visible effects of the detoxifying process experienced by a very small minority, as the skin organ expels toxins which may have accumulated under the skin over time. The most common examples are localised dryness, itchiness, redness, peeling or even breakouts that will gradually disappear as your skin organ heals and is a definitive sign that Eumora is working.
2. How long does a Healing Crisis last?
It varies from person to person depending on the current condition of the skin. It may range from a few days to a few weeks. It would eventually result in a more radiant and youthful look!
3. Is there anything I can do to help with the symptoms of the “Healing Crisis”?
You can apply a gentle moisturiser (Preferably formulated with natural ingredients) if your skin is experiencing dryness. As for other symptoms, it could be due to the products (Cosmetics, etc) that you have been using. Stop using all such products and monitor the symptoms.
Before and After few days (8th January 2017) using this facial bar. |
In tightened the pores, I can't see that much of differences, but it does brighter my skin tone. As I asked around my friend, if they noticed any changes, and she said that, "You have a glowing skin than before", and it was an honest feedback from her.
I need to asked around because if I only tell my personal preferences, I do not feel that satisfaction of using it. I must know that they are other people recognise a changes on my face.
Honestly, it was interesting to be able to wash my face with it, instead of my rice soap and it is a good change for a while. For that one small sample bar, it could last me for one and a half month!
Oh did you know, that Eumora Facial Bar is a KKM and GMP, Halal Certified APPROVED! Thumbs up for that.
